PTA
Welcome to the Brereton Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The PTA is made up of every parent and teacher at our school, working together to support the students, staff and community through fun and meaningful activities.
One of the school’s favourite words is Ubuntu ~ “the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects community”. It is often used in the charity industry and in practice can truly bring communities together.
Fundraising and Events
We organise a variety of fundraising events throughout the year to bring our school community together. Our regular events include:
- Fireworks Extravaganza – A fun-filled evening for the whole family.
- Christmas Fair – Featuring Santa’s Grotto and our popular “Elfridges” gift shop.
- Summer Garden Party – Celebrating the crowning of our Rose King and Queen with wholesome activities for the whole community.
In addition to these, we host pop-up events, discos and special day gift shops. The success of these events depends on volunteers and we warmly encourage you to get involved – it’s a great way to help the school and be part of the community.
Previously Funded Projects
Thanks to our fundraising efforts, the PTA has supported projects that the school’s budget couldn’t cover, including:
- Reception outdoor classroom
- Trim trail
- Forest school building
- Teaching equipment
…and much more! These contributions help enrich the learning environment for our children. Keep an eye out for upcoming fundraising projects.
Get Involved
Look out for PTA meeting dates in the school newsletters and emails. Volunteering is a rewarding way to give back and make a difference for your children and the school. Whether it’s a one-off event or ongoing support, your help is always appreciated. Together, we also engage with the local church, charities and businesses to strengthen our school community.
Match Funding
If your employer offers match funding for charitable contributions, please consider this when supporting our events. Your involvement can help us raise even more funds for the school.
