No Outsiders
No Outsiders uses picture books to encourage children to celebrate their identifies and to accept and value others. This is particularly important to us as a church school, where we believe all of God’s children are to be valued. The programme supports the Equality Act and themes explore gender, sexuality, race and ethnicity, religion, disability and age, at an age-appropriate level. Sessions reinforce that, in our school, there will be no outsiders: we are all perfectly different and unique. With hate crimes rising each year, we want out children to be the ones who challenge and change perspectives, whilst also respecting the values and beliefs of others.
To find out more about the books that we use, please see the presentation at the bottom of this page.
