Ethos Council 2020-2021

Mrs Pulle

Mrs Fiona Pullé - Key Stage 2 teacher/RE and Collective Worship lead.
I have very much enjoyed working at Brereton for over 15 years, first as a supply teacher and now in Key Stage 2. I love education and relish teaching in a school which embodies Christian values and celebrates how children grow emotionally and spiritually as well as academically. I am interested in the different ways children learn and endeavour to plan creatively using art, drama and storytelling wherever possible.

The Aims of our Ethos Council

  • To make our school community the best it can be.

  • For all children and adults to feel comfortable, happy and safe to express their faith.

  • To make sure people can tell that our school is a Christian school.

Our Role

  • We will listen to the ideas, opinions and suggestions of our class mates.

  • We will review and contribute to school policies.

  • We will help to decide how money should be spent to improve the Christian character of our school.

  • We will help to make our school rules.

  • We will discuss our learning in RE, P.S.H.E and Collective Worship and how it could be made even better.

  • We will share our views with Staff, Governors and Parents.

  • We will suggest Christian charities we could support.

  • We will work closely with our Safeguarding and School Council Groups.

Please check our page regularly for updates and information. Don't forget we also have a suggestion box in the entrance hall which we check regularly and we welcome your thoughts and ideas.
