Year 3 Blog

Date: 17th Mar 2019 @ 7:05pm

Hello everyone!

It's definitely been non-stop since the last Year 3 blog. As you know we had a highly enjoyable and educational trip to Chester two weeks ago and I hope you've all enjoyed looking at the pictures. From this trip myself and Mrs Pulle´ put together our class assembly, and it was great to see so many of you there to watch the fruit of our labours. Whilst I am not certain that either myself or Mrs Pulle´ have any future career in script-writing, I think you'd agree that Year 3 contains several born performers! Let's hope they continue to seize the opportunities of being in front of a crowd throughout the rest of their time at Brereton. I feel that I should offer one minor apology to those of you, who like myself this weekend now have 'Mickey' by Toni Basil as a permanent earworm.

This week we look forward to parent consultations where it will be great to share our thoughts and discuss the progress that your children have made so far. Back in the classroom we will be learning about measurement in maths, light in science and the construction of the aqueduct (among other things) in our Roman topic lessons.

Your child should have come home this weekend with details of our Stay and Make afternoon on the 26th March in their reading diaries. Please feel free to ask any questions about this when you come into school either at the end of the school day or at the parent consultations.
