First week of Spring 2022

Straight back into it!

Week 1 of the Spring Term has been a busy one, as ever. It was a cold and frosty morning that saw Year 6 learning how to read a compass in Forest School. Each child had a map of the school grounds and used a compass and its eight points to navigate to certain landmarks on the map. Next week, we hope to go on a treasure hunt. Don’t forget those wellies!

Towards the end of the week, we welcoming Walk The Bible into school. This is a project that combines drama and movement with the telling of the whole bible. This week, we dramatized Genesis, the Garden of Eden, Noah’s Ark and Joseph and his colourful coat.
