First week of Spring 2

Welcome back to Year 4 as the weather begins to warm and the mornings brighten.

Appropriately enough, we have also returned to the forest for our Forest School sessions with Mr Simmons. These sessions will be on Fridays from week 2 and will be half a class at a time.

Of great excitement this week was World Book Day. In class, we shared some twisted stories and helped to write a new school story with Mrs Wood. As well as dressing up as our favourite book characters, we joined a live lesson led by the BBC and Michael Rosen and also watched some stories from around the world. Finally, there was some time with Year 2 to share books the children love.
