Year 4's Tudor Experience at Tatton Park

Class: Year 4 Year: 2015 - 2016
We had a fantastic day at Tatton Park. We learnt how to make wattle and daub (yuck!), how to make flour by threshing and winnowing the wheat, spinning wool and all about what it was like to live during Henry VIII's reign. We reenacted a joust for His Majesty King Henry VIII and Queen Anne Boleyn. Our day ended with Milly, Alfie and Mrs Clewlow being accused of stealing, which resulted in them being put in the pillaries. Luckily for them, the chamber pots had been emptied earlier that day so they were spared having waste thrown at them!
