Year 3 and 4 Chester Zoo

Class: Year 3 Year: 2017 - 2018

On Monday 21st May, Year 3 and 4 visited Chester Zoo. We had a wonderful day and some of us were even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the baby elephant and baby rhino that had been born just a few days before. 

Year 3 used the trip to enhance their learning of the rainforest. We learnt about the animals and plants that lived there. In our workshop, we found out what we would need to survive a trip to the rainforest which included special socks to stop leeches attaching themselves to your skin. 

Year 4 learnt all about the skeletons of different animals in their science workshop.
