Reception's visit from Sunny the Meerkat

Earlier this morning, we found some rather perculiar foot prints as we came into the classroom. We soon discovered that is was Sunny the Meerkat trying to find somewhere stay. We welcomed him with opened arms, built a shelter for him to stay in and made some delicious insect pies. We will be reading the book 'Meerkat Mail' over the next few weeks on the lead up to our visit to Reaseheath Zoo.
