Pentecost Party

On Friday Reception celebrated Pentecost, the birthday of the Christian church. We played pass the parcel and discovered pictures of a windsock, fire, a dove and welcome in lots of different languages. These helped us to remember how the disciples recieved the gift of the Holy Spirit, which helped them to teach others about Jesus. In the middle there were some sweets for us all to share! We also decorated cakes and biscuits and played lots of party games. What a lovely way to end the half term!
