York Day 2

We have had a fabulous day at Murton Park.  We were invited to a Viking village where we met some of the residents.  They showed us around the different homes and shared how they live.   To repay their kindness, we made tallow lamps, ground flour and baked bread, ready for their party this evening.  The Lord also trained us how to be guards which was quite lucky as a rogue Saxon decided to attack!  Thankfully, we scared him away! 

We have had a wonderful day and we are looking forward to more fun and learning tomorrow!
