We have had another extremely busy week in Year 6!
English - The children have enjoyed understanding the story of Macbeth. They have had the opportunity to act out the story, play the different roles, consider the thoughts of the characters, and get to grips with the language. Mrs Riley and I have been so impressed by how confidently they have approached it and I can't wait to share some of the written outcomes with you.
I know many of you are keen to support children at home with spellings. Children bring home a word list in their planner each week and are encouraged to find other words following the rule. I have also attached the Year 6 recommended word list for those who wish to do a little extra.
Maths: This week we have been working on multiplying fractions and solving fractions problems. Children have also been revising work on adding fractions and finding common denominators from last week. The first parts of the videos below should help with supporting children at home.
