Well done on another fantastic week!

We are all very much settled into Year 6 life and being fantastic role models to the rest of the school. 

This week, we have been immersing ourselves in our text 'On the Origin of Species' and looking at Charles darwin and his discoveries. We have also been looking at the suffragette movement and the impact that this has had on women, reading about Emmeline Pankhurst was particulalry interesting. We really enjoyed our mental health PE afternoon with Mr Aspinall and are looking forward to our next session next week.

As you are all aware, swimming lessons start every day from Monday for 3 weeks, so we will be very busy fitting our usual lessons in around this each day. Please ensure that children come to school in their PE kits with swimwear underneath and their swimming bags with everything they will need in there.
