Monday
On Monday, we did worship. Then we did algebra in maths. Example: 3 x y = 12 so y = 4. Next, we learned about ‘The Explorer’ book in guided reading. Next, we did Spelling and went out with our spelling groups! Afterwards, we had break. We did English and we were publishing our new versions of the Darwin story. Then we had Pasta Bake or Pizza for our lunch. After lunch we had PE and we did tag rugby and basketball and then we went home.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, we did my happy mind and a safer internet day assembly on teams. Next, we did maths and we were doing problems with unknowns. Then we learned more about ‘The Explorer’ book in guided reading and we also did spelling in our groups. Then we had break! We did more publishing in English then had Spag Bol or Jacket Potato for lunch. In the afternoon, we did some maths Revision - multiplying and dividing fractions and SPaG tenses and then it was time to go home.
Wednesday
On Wednesday we started off with worship with Reverend Sandy. Then we did Maths. We got an early break because we went to church at 10:45 to learn all about The Eucharist (or Holy Communion) Then we had Roast Pork or Quorn Fillet for lunch. Later, we did our RE assessment piece, making a booklet or poster on The Eucharist, The Last Supper, and The Passover and then went home.
Thursday
On Thursday, we had worship then in Maths we were rounding decimals! Then we did Guided reading on The Explorer book and after we did some spelling. In the afternoon we had music and computing.
Friday
Friday morning we spent in forest school. We are making an automata toy in D&T next week so we found resources to make things that moved. Some of us made cars and some made cranes and things to scoop water. We had to use tools like a drill and were very careful! Then we had maths and carried on with our decimals work. In the afternoon we had art with Mrs Taylor and made pieces of art based on our favourite music artists. We had a fantastic day!
