This week year four will be focusing on the SRE (Sex and Relationship Education) curriculum. The key questions that will be covered are below. These may result in further questions being asked at home and can help parents prepare for questions they may be asked later at home:

What changes happen to the body when a child grows up?

Lesson 2 Body Changes and Reproduction

What are the basic facts about puberty, reproduction and pregnancy?

What differences occur from a child to a young adult?

Why do our bodies change as we get older?

What are the facts about pregnancy?

Lesson 3 What is Puberty?

What are the physical and emotional changes that happen in puberty?

Does each person experience these changes at the same time?
