Year 3 w.b. 14th October

We have had another super week! Thank you for your support with spellings and homework which have followed on from the work we are doing in school. 

This week in Maths we have used the column method with addition and subtraction! It has been tricky but everyone is making super progress and understanding the process of how to do it when there are exchanges.

In English, we have continued to write our non chronological reports. We will have these finished and published next week!

In Art this week, we painted our waterlillies using watercolours. We had a wet but fun PE lesson with Mr Thompson from Thrive on Wednesday afternoon doing invasion games! In Spanish this week we continued to learn the alphabet and looked at vowels. In Music, we learned Start and Stop and the notes D, B and E!

This week, we enjoyed three Art of Brilliance workshops, where we were learning how to be the best version of ourselves. We discussed many key topics and thought about how we make an impact and things we can do to help ourselves and make ourselves a better person.
