We have had a fantastic week! Thank you for your help with reading and homework yet again!
In English this week, we have been planning and writing a threatening narrative about the Iron Man as he appears on the cliff top and approaches the village! We have been carefully choosing vocabulary to make the setting sound scary and slowly revealing the threat of the Iron Man as he approaches!
In Maths, our focus has been multiplying and dividing by 3 and 4! We are using songs with the tune of Jingle Bells and Row your Boat to help embed them! If you can support at home with TT Rockstars, this would be very helpful.
In PE this week, we focussed on passing and shooting in netball. In Science, we looked at sources of light and we considered using experimentation with feely bags what life would be like if we didn't have a source of light. In Forest School, we made traps for the Iron Man while in Music we enjoyed playing some of our Christmas songs! In Spanish we learned the verb I am- Soy. We then did sentences with the animals we have learned!
In Georgraphy we have learned about rivers all around the world such as the River Nile and the Amazon using atlases.
