Year 3 blog w.b 30th September

We have had a fantastic week again. Thank you once again for your support with homework. We are looking forward to writing our information texts next week and the week after so please bring in the research on Monday so that we have lots of facts.

This week in English we have been analysing what a good information text looks like and looking at a writer's toolkit. In Maths, we have been adding 1s, 10s and 100s to 3 digit numbers! In PE, we have been focussing on passing in football, passing through a gate with accuracy and then passing on the move, before playing lots of matches.

In PSHE we were looking at apologising when we have made a mistake and been unkind with words. We recognised that people make mistakes and looked at how, by listening to others' points of view and empathising, we can move forward from a situation. 

In RE, we made our Moses storyboards and in music, we enjoyed playing our first songs using some of the notes we learned. In History, we continued to look at inventions and travel in the industrial revolution.
