Year 3 blog w.b 17th March

Date: 21st Mar 2025 @ 2:55pm

We have had a wondeful week!

In Maths this week, we have completed our end of unit assessments in fractions. We have now moved onto mass and capacity- weighing in grams and kilograms, and measuring liquid in ml and l.

In English we have been writing our return stories in the style of Jemmy Button! They have been wonderful to read.

In PE, we practised our fielding skills- throwing underarm and creating a long barrier, before moving onto bowling and batting in cricket.

In Geography this week, we found and labelled landmarks of Rome!

In Science, we looked at how the stem of a plant draws water by experimenting with dye; we then looked at plants like cacti in different enviroments and considered how they adapt and surive.

In Forest School we enjoyed socialising with our friends, playing fun, imaginative  games and making dens. We enjoyed seeing the start of spring with some of the plants which are beginning to grow.

We had a lovely visit to church followed by a bit of a treat; a trip to the park for our break time. We had a wonderful time

Have a lovely weekend.
