Year 3 blog w.b 11th November

We have had another fantastic week in Year 3. Thank you for supporting at home with reading and homework.

In Maths after completing our mini assessments on addition and subtraction, we then moved on to multiplication and division, specifically looking at equal groups and arrays.

In English we have worked very hard to write not only a setting description but also a character description!

In PE, we focussed on passing and dribbling with the football, while in Science our focus was experimenting with magnets!

In Music we played Snow is Falling Down and Hot Mince Pies! In RE we started to look at the Christmas story and acted it out with role playing.

In Geography, we learned about the mouth and source of the river, how they are formed and other features, while in Computing, we programmed and learned about micro bits. In Forest School we used natural resources to make poppies!

It has been a fun and busy week. Have a lovely weekend everyone.
