Year 1 wb 20.3.15

This week the children have used an ICT programme called 'Scratch' to create their own algorithms.

The children learnt the names of the planets and some information about each planet. We then put the large planets in order.

We met the chicks that have hatched in Year 2, which was very exciting!

In literacy we are now learning to write intructions. Our instructions are for 'How to Look After a Baby Alien'. We have been retelling the instructions with actions and designing our own aliens.

This morning we all went outside and using a pinhole camera we watched the eclipse ... WOW!
