Year 1 w/b 19.3.18

We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in year 1, with our Stay and Make, trip to Spaceport and our Church service today!

This week in phonics we have been learning the ue sound as well as high frequency words in phonic. In English, have been writing a recount of our trip to Spaceport! The children really enjoyed the trip and it is well worth a visit again in the future!

In maths, we focused on measuring and comparing mass. In RE we discussed why the cross is important for Christians and made our own San Salvador crosses, while in topic we made a fact file about Neil Armstrong!
