Week Beginning 24/9 and Blists Hill Visit
Date: 30th Sep 2018 @ 7:44pm
It has been another busy week in Year Five!
We began work on our new English text - Lost Happy Endings. Thankfully, lost Mr Collier did end happily and was a highlight of the week.
In maths we have been working on missing number addition and subtraction problems which were quite tricky!
In science we have been thinking about the effects of gravity.
We have an action packed week next week. On Tuesday we are going to Blists Hill Victorian Town. Children need to wear school uniform and have a waterproof coat. They also need a packed lunch which can be ordered from school and can be disposable or carried in a rucksack. We have also asked children to bring exactly £3 which can be exchanged for Victorian coins to spend at the fair.
On Thursday we have our harvest service.
With this in mind, I will be giving a smaller spelling list this week. I have been very impressed by the standard of homework from many. Keep it up Y5!
