Week beginning 20.3.17

We had another busy, but rewarding week in year 2! The children did an amazing job leading the Easter Service and I am sure you all felt very proud of how they did. We certainly did.

This week we looked at words that have 'ph' and 'wh' in them, with the spellings for the test concentrating on the 'wh', due to the silent 'h' in the words. In English we have been innovating our own stories based on a known story about an elephant who had no trunk!

In maths we have been focussing on fractions and focussed on fractions of quantities e.g. 1/4 of 20.
