Week beginning 11th September

Good evening all,

After a lovely first few days back where the children and I have been getting to know each other, it is the first full week back in school coming up. The children were given their instruments on Friday and I trust they have been getting to grips with them. Mrs Tice will be back in on Thursday to begin lessons with the children spending the first couple of weeks using a technique called pizzicato.

We will be starting out new English unit this week with some very engaging lessons which the children will enjoy I'm sure. 

In maths, we will be learning about rounding numbers to the nearest 10 and 100 after this weeks learning about Roman numerals (I do hope you have told your parents all about the Romans and their number system).

As ever if you wish to talk to me about anything, please do not hesitate in coming to me or making an appoitment via the school office.
