The weeks have started flashing by towards the end of a very busy half term.
We are now putting a lot of time into our rehearsals for 'Joseph' (dates: 16,17th July at 2:00pm, 18th July at 7:00pm). It would help if you could continue to encourage your child to keep learning the song words either by reading them off the sheets they have been given or listening to the songs on youtube. We are at the stage where the moves are starting to come on but the singing has dropped off!
All the transition days for the new school year in September have now been completed. It has been lovely to see the excitement with which the children have returned to school and to hear all their stories about what they have been up to. It's great that they are all really looking forward to the move.
The Y6 end of term trip is in place and you have received notification. Just a reminder that the date is Friday July 19th. The children can come in their own clothes which need to be suitable for play.
Another date reminder is the Y6 Leavers Service which is on Wednesday 24th July at 2:00pm in St. Oswald's Church. The children are welcome to wear a shirt for the other children to sign on that day but could you please make sure that they have a clean shirt to change into after lunch to wear to church.
Here's hoping that the good weather is here to stay. That being the case, if we have some time one afternoon I may take the children outside for games, so could you please make sure that they have their PE kit in school each day and that they have suncream and a hat to wear. Many thanks.
