It was lovely to see so many of you on Tuesday for our welcome meetings - I hope you found it useful. For those who were unable to attend, the PowerPoint will shortly be added to our class page and paper copies of topic information and recommended reads have been sent home with your child.

Our visit to Clonter Opera was fantastic and the work children completed will be brought together in school. This will then be sent for assessment for the entry level arts award. Clonter were kind enough to offer children the opportunity to complete higher level qualifications as they move through high school. Please ask me if you wish to know more.

Next week we have our visit to see Joseph on Wednesday afternoon. We are all looking forward to it. We are due back at school at 4:45pm and will see children on to the playground as we do at the end of the day.

For those of you asking about after school clubs, a letter has been e-mailed out today. This half term children can choose football, netball or rugby. After half term, musical theatre, colouring, hockey and a try something new club will be added to the offering.

Finally, Y6 will be walking to church first thing on Thursday morning for a service led by Sandi. This will be a traditional service and we will not be performing. If you do wish to accompany us, please let me know.
