Happy weekend all,

I hope you're enjoying a well deserved weekend break.

Last week in year 4 was an exciting one. We made different circuits in science (pictures can be found in the year 4 gallery) and then drew our circuits using simple symbols for all the equipment used. We also enjoyed writing our very own mystery stories based on pictures from 'The mysteries of Harris Burdick.' 

This week we move on to writing newspaper reports based around the same book. In maths were are continuing with our learning on fractions including finding fractions of amounts. There will still be a large emphasis on multiplication and spelling this week with children have lots of opportunties to practice our year 4 spelling words and times tables. 

We have music on Thursday with Mrs Tice so please ensure all children have instruments with them. PE continues with Mr Jones on Monday alongside netball practice for year 3 and 4 on Monday lunchtime.
