Evening all,

I hope everyone is enjoying a lovely Sunday.

Its the last week of our half term this week and once again it is a busy one. PE is tomorrow afternoon so can all children please make sure they have a PE kit in school. Mrs Tice will be back in school on Thursday to teach music and therefore instruments will be needed.

In maths we are learning about area of 2-d shapes alongside written methods of addition and subtraction. In English we will be learning about Poetry by understanding the language used and the meaning of the poem as a whole. 

There will continue to be a large emphasis on multiplication and spelling, therefore can children please use any opportunity to pratice these at home. 

Year 4 spellings for this week will concentrate on tricky spellings from the year 4 spelling list. The children will be tested on the following:

possession

reign

separate

naughty

purpose

exercise

century 

forward.
