Welcome back all,
I hope you had a lovely half term break. I can see from the smiles and suntans that the children have had fun.
It's a busy week in school this week. Tuesday is our trip to Chester Zoo with year 3. Children will need to wear full school uniform for the duration of the visit. We will be leaving after registration in the morning and, as the letter stated, our aim is to return to school for around 4:15pm.
Mrs Tice will be in school on Wednesday this week to teach the children music so instruments will be required then rather than Thursday.
Thursday is polling day around the country. Therefore, as previously informed we are not open.
Our spelling rule this week is adding the prefix 'dis' to words and analysing the changes in meaning this gives. Below are our spelling words which the children have also been given.
Homework will be slightly different this week. Both homeworks will be in paper form. English has been sent home today and is due on Wednesday as normal. Maths will be an arithmetic paper due on Friday.
