This week in year 4 we will be joining the rest of the school in taking part in a full day of RE on Monday. The focus of the day is Incarnation and the children will produce work and learn about the Christmas story as well as other stories. We will focus on the good news we see in the Christmas story. 

In English we will be starting our next topic on instruction writing. By the end of the week, the children will produce a piece of instrutional writing using a variety of techniques learned throughout the week.

In science, we will be learning about insulators and conductors. Children will use their knowledge of building circuits to test different materials before producing a table and written observation on their experiment. 

On Friday, we will be visiting Tatton Old Hall for our class trip for this term. The day will see the children take part in different activies that a typical Tudor peasant would have completed. Although we have asked the children to dress up for the day, please remember the hall is very cold and suitable footwear should be worn along with a warm coat.
