The end of a (long) half term
Date: 28th Oct 2016 @ 2:28pm
Just wanted to wish you all a very restful half term break, after a busy start to the academic year.
We return to school on November 7th for a six and half week run up to Christmas. It promisies to be action-packed all the way, starting with:
Miss Robinson is working with us up to December 16th.
The Remembrance Service is at church on Friday 11th November - please check school website for timings.
Year 6 have a day out in Liverpool on November 16th and two days later on the 18th, we have a fantastic day with Lorelly Wilson who is fondly known at Brereton as the cabbage lady - yes, it's Chemistry with cabbage, a highly interactive, messy, sciency day where the children learn a huge amount about materials and chemistry.
Beth Cosgrove will be joining us again in the week beginning 14th November, for Bible Explorer based on the New Testament.
We have our end of term assessment tests for maths, spag and reading in the week beginning 21st November.
It's Year 6 class assembly Friday 9th December.
We will be continuing with all our usual curriculum subjects right up to the end of the half term before school closes on December 21st.
See you all in a week.
