Summer's here!

Good evening everyone!

This will be my final blog as the current Year 3 teacher and as I'm sure everyone has better things to be doing in such glorious sunshine, I'll keep it mercifully short!

I hope that everyone who came along to 'Joseph' last week had an enjoyable experience; we were both extremely proud of Year 3's contribution, and even after all these weeks practising the class today are still loving singing these songs.

I can say in all honesty that this year has been an exceptionally happy one as my first year at Brereton, and much of that is down to the children in the class. Every single day they have made me smile, laugh and helped me learn more about them, both as individuals and as a cohort. I hope that over the summer they are able to reflect on what they have learned this year and recall all the many experiences we have had together. I also need to pass on my thanks from both myself and Mrs. Pullé for all the fabulous support we have had from you all throughout the year - it is really appreciated!

As you all know by now, I will be undertaking a different role in school next year, which will provide me with lots of opportunities to help children across Key Stage 2. I'm most delighted to be staying at Brereton and am very excited about the new school year (once I've had a nice long summer break, of course!), and I thank you for all the kind words since this news was released. 

On that note, we both hope you all have a fantastic summer wherever it takes you!
