Summer term Brazil homework project

Welcome back Year 3 parents. I hope you enjoyed your half term and are ready for the last one in Year 3!

I am writing to inform you that I will not be setting tasks in the red Literacy homework book for the remainder of the year. Instead I would like your child to complete a Literacy project. I will send the Literacy homework book home if you would like to do any of the activities to supplement your child’s learning. If you complete any activities, you can send the book in for me to mark if you would like, and then I will return it.

Therefore I would like your child to write a ‘week in the life of a Brazilian child’ diary. This should include a description of the environment they live in, their house, school, family and friends. This should also include cultural aspects of their life such as religion, food and recreational activities. The notebook may include small pictures, jottings, maps etc which may be found in a child's journal.

I would like the project to be completed by Monday 13th July 2015. I would like this project to be handwritten in the form of a diary notebook. Please can you help your child with ideas and research, but I would like the project to be their writing. If you have any questions regarding the project please feel free to talk to me.
