Romans homework project

I am writing to inform you that I will not be sending home the red Literacy homework book from this week. Instead I would like your child to complete a Literacy project based on our Topic of the Romans. This will aid our topic work and I feel the children will really enjoy the project. I would like this project to be handwritten or word processed and printed out. However your child can create a PowerPoint to accompany the project booklet if they wish to.

Your child will once again present their findings to the class in a presentation of no more than 2 minutes in length.

I would like your child to complete a non-fiction booklet outlining ‘What the Romans did for us’. This could be in the form of a fact file with interesting facts. Please include some or all of following; pictures, diagrams, bullet points, headings, glossary, timelines and contents.

I would like the project to be completed by Friday 27th March 2015. If your child completes the activity beforehand than you may bring it in earlier, but the idea of this project is for you to do a little every week. If you have any questions regarding the project please feel free to talk to me.
