Reception Weekly Blog WB Monday 18th October
Date: 22nd Oct 2021 @ 4:33pm
Just like that our first half term in Reception is done. The children have settled into their new setting so well and I am so proud of them all for their beautiful manners, hard-work and kindness towards others. They are a wonderful bunch of children and absolutely a credit to you all.
Tonight’s blog is only going to be a short one but I would like to end the half term by saying thank you for all of your support and patience. Starting school is always an anxious time for both parents and children but we feel everyone has embraced the Brereton family and settled in so well. It is with a heavy heart that I am finishing this early for my maternity leave as I will miss the watching the children flourish over the next 4-5 weeks but I will still see them for story time over zoom and have weekly updates from Miss Foulkes. Thank you also for all of your kind messages and flowers, they all mean so much.
We won’t be giving homework or any learning tasks over half term as we want to encourage the children to have a restful break as it has been a long half term. The Reception team very much look forward to welcoming them all back fresh and ready for a new term on Tuesday 2nd November.
I wish you all the very best.
Best wishes,
Mrs Cassettari
