Reception - Week Beginning 13th September
Date: 17th Sep 2021 @ 4:28pm
It has been another lovely week here in Reception. We are so proud of how the children have settled in and now understand the expectations and routine. The class timetable is working well for all children so they know what activity is coming next.
Our activities this week have consisted of a bear hunt in the woods, balancing skills in PE, drawing and fine motor skills, creating and maintaining friendships and learning the class text ‘The Little Red Hen’ as well of all of our choosing activities in the classroom. In order to support this development at home, please do encourage your child to have a go with some dough gym exercises attached below:

Just a little reminder for the next couple of weeks. On Sunday 3rd October, we have our Harvest Service family service at Church which will be led by Rev. Sandi and everyone is welcome to join. We have our ‘dress up day’ coming up on Tuesday 5th October where the children are invited to come in dressed up as any bear from their favourite bear story. We also have our Harvest Service on Friday 7th October. This will be at St.Oswalds Church but due to safety regulations in regards to Covid-19, it will just be the children and school staff attending. However, pictures from the service will be shared with all parents.
Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone next week.
