Week 4
This week we have been looking at a very famous bear....Paddington Bear! On Tuesday children had to listen carefully whilst the staff gave them instructions for how to make a marmalade sandwich. The children must have listened really well as the staff only verbalised the instruction once and they all ended up with delicious sandwiches! Following this work, the children were challenged to write a set of instructions and they produced some fantastic writing.
In Maths we have been learning to count in twos and tens. Why not try this at home with 2p and 10p coins?
During our afternoon sessions we have been busy learning about plants and we created some lovely sunflower collages. We also used collage materials to create pictures of Paddington Bear.
In RE we have started to learn about Pentecost and the Holy Spirit. We made windmills because, like the wind, the disciples could feel the Holy Spirit but they couldn't see it.
Have a lovely weekend!
