Our First Week at School!

The children have settled in well and they have had lots of fun exploring their new classroom.  This week we have focussed on embedding our rules and routines and the children have all responded well to the challenges they have faced.  All of the children are a delight to have and together they make a wonderful class.  Many of the staff have commented on how polite, friendly and eager the children all seem, which is lovely to hear.   Year 6 have also been a wonderful help, assisting the children at lunchtimes and break times. Thank you Year 6 for being such caring role models.

Next week we will begin our daily Phonics and Guided Reading sessions, as well tackling new lessons, such as RE and PE.
