Welcome back!
It has been lovely to see all of the children again after the half term break. They all appear to have grown too! We hope you all had a relaxing break and enjoyed your time together.
Before we broke up the children voted for their new role play area...a hospital! They have had great fun exploring the new resources and acting out scenarios together.
This week in Maths we have been identifying missing numbers in a number line and ordering a selection of number. If you wish to practise this further there are some lovely games listed below:

In Literacy this week we have started to look at the story ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker.’ On Wednesday we were amazed to find some elf-sized cakes and a number of clues around the classroom supporting the idea we had been visited by some miniature helpers! We were very excited! We took great care in writing them thank you letters. We hope the letters aren’t too big for them!
This week we have also started to learn our Nativity songs - the children have amazed us with their enthusiasm and skill!! We have also been learning our song for the Remembrance Service next week (Wednesday 11th November 10am). We will be leaving for church at 9:30. Please let me know if you would like to walk up to church with us.
It was lovely to see the completed ‘Signs of Autumn Hunt.’ The children have been very keen to share their experiences. Please don’t forget you can share photos from walks and days out on your child’s Tapestry account.
A big thank you to our wonderful PTA for a fantastic Bonfire Night. A fantastic display once again! Reception's chocolate covered apples and cupcakes soon sold out so well done guys!
Have a great weekend and thank you for our continued support.
