Another Busy Week!
We have been making the most of the beautiful weather, playing and working outside. In Maths we have been using number lines and Numicon to solve subtraction sums and problems. In Literacy we have been innovating our Three Billy Goats Gruff story, giving it a more African feel. The children really enjoyed sharing their stories, such as The Three Zebras, and they produced some wonderful writing. Well done everyone!
In topic we investigated old forms of transport and we compared them to those we use to go on holiday today. On Thursday the pupils really enjoyed celebrating Children's Day, a Japanese Festival. We made some beautiful carp kites and Ben even taught us some Japanese!
We hope you have a wonderful weather enjoying the sunshine!
