What a fantastically fun-filled week!

In Maths we have continued the tricky topic of money and have explored different ways in which we can use coins. Some of us have been able to find change from 20p as well finding totals when adding and subtracting. Please continue to support your child at home with money and their different amounts when you can.

In Literacy this week, we have written a recount of our trip to Spaceport or a favourite day out. We have begun learning how to read through and edit our own work to make improvements, such as checking for capital letters and full stops and adding ‘Wow’ words (adjectives) to improve our descriptions.

We have been ‘astronauts in training’ during ‘Expressive Arts’ and have been put to the test with various obstacles. We had to dodge the asteroids, face a moon walking challenge and pass the astronaut circuit test! Additionally, we found out some interesting, scientific facts about our solar system. Did you know that astronauts can’t burp in space? Definitely our favourite fact of all!

It was another successful Easter service in church today and to say we’re proud of our little stars is an understatement. They sat beautifully and wowed the crowd with their amazing singing. Thank you to those who walked down to church with us, we really appreciate your help!
