We have had such a busy week!

In Maths this week, we have been learning how to measure; we drew around our feet to find out the length and width in squares and used a metre ruler to find objects more or less than one metre. It was really tricky but we had great fun measuring each other.

In Literacy this week, we have planned our own story maps and written our own versions of The Gruffalo. We used our imaginations to create new characters, we loved being able to pick our own animals. We had frogs, badgers, cats and even a unicorn strolling through the deep, dark wood.

We started our week off by using our green fingers, we wrote instructions on how to grow cress and Mrs Taylor gave us the opportunity to put our instructions to the test. Each of us stuck a picture of our faces on a plant pot and we are watering our cress daily in the hopes we will grow crazy, cress hair.

On Wednesday, we were lucky enough to have a visit from four gorgeous lambs, we even managed to bottle feed them. Continuing on with our wonderful world topic, we used magnifying glasses to hunt for minibeasts in the woodland area. We then created an information booklet on our findings.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the extra day.
