Another Busy Week!
This week we have been learning about real life heroes. We have been using non-fiction books to learn about firefighters and other people who help us. We have amazed visiting teachers with our knowledge of the features of non-fiction books, using words like 'contents,' 'index' and 'glossary' accurately in our discussions! We used our new found knowledge to write labels and captions.
In Numeracy we have been measuring the weight of objects using non-standard units (multilink cubes). Why not do some baking to practise these skills? Remember we are always happy to try samples! We have also been learning about time (o'clock and half past) and we have been looking at 1 hour earlier/1 hour later.
