In Year 1 we have been learning a poem called 'Penguin Parade'.

We learnt how to retell the poem using the story map, then we woked in groups to add body percussion. We practised speaking with fluency and expression.

Next we will learn about rhyme, alliteration and adverbs!

We will then use this new knowledge to change the poem to a different animal.
