Mr Hesketh is joining us next week

Year 5 will be joined on Monday by an associate teacher, Mr Zachary Hesketh, from Manchester University as he embarks on his PGCE course. He will be with us up to February next term. He will be working alongside me and other teachers in year 5 (Mr Cotton, Mrs Pulle) initially with groups and individuals, working up to team teaching and taking supervised lessons, eventually leading to taking the class in certain subjects. It's great having another adult in the classroom as it enables much greater flexibility to direct individual and group attention where it is needed. We all wish him a successful placement.
