What a different week that was!
I must say it has been wonderful learning with the children from home and I have enjoyed getting to know a little more about what home life as well. When I saw a photo of Dougie with a calf on Wednesday evening, it brought back memories of being on the farm with my Dad when I was younger.
From flour phonics, to shape monsters, instruction writing and adding, all of our work this week wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our parents. It has been suggested that learning from home for the younger ones is a little trickier than older, more independent children, but I do hope you feel this week we have managed to get round that together.
Please see some of the wonderful photos shared this week in the photos below, parents have kindly agreed to letting me put some up for us all to share.
Although the Santa visit did not go to plan, I really hope the children enjoyed getting to see him and hearing a personalised messaged. I also hope you all enjoyed sharing our nativity performance. The children worked incredibly hard learning their lines and songs. I must say a huge thank you to Miss Sherliker for all of her hard work bringing this together in such a short time frame.
That just leaves me to wish you a very happy and safe Christmas and wonderful New Year. I look forward to seeing you all again in January and hope that 2021 brings us joy, peace, love and reunion.
