End of key stage 2 SATs Y6

SATs week for the children of year 6 starts on Monday May 11th 2015. Below you can see which tests will be administered on each day:

MONDAY 11TH MAY: Reading comprehension test.

TUESDAY 12TH MAY: Spelling, punctuation and grammar tests.

WEDNESDAY 13TH MAY: Mental maths and written maths paper A.

THURSDAY 14TH MAY: Written maths paper B.

FRIDAY 15TH MAY: No more tests.

Whereas there are no specific times for the tests, each test will be administered in the mornings as soon as all the children are present, calm and ready to start.

Please ensure that your child has had a full nights sleep before each test day and that they have eaten breakfast.

If your child is unwell on the day of a test, please endeavour to bring them into school as tests cannot be taken on any other days than those scheduled above.

The children have worked very hard indeed to get to this point. They are well prepared and all the staff and children wish the children of year 6, the best of luck for a successful week!
