Clonter Opera

Last Friday was a wonderful day. Having arrived we were treated to a showcase of songs, followed by an explanation of different types of singing voices and the variety of jobs and roles that can be taken up in the world of theatre. After this the children made miniature stage sets under the tutelage of the Clonter set designer, which were then lit up in the same way that an actual stage would be, so that the children could see their work come alive. After lunch we went into the auditorium where the performers we had met in the morning, performed a variety of group and solo songs.

We always have a great time at Clonter and the children get a musical theatre experience that we couldn't get anywhere else.
