Clonter, Bikeability and Liverpool

A reminder that this Friday, September 23rd, is our visit to Clonter Opera. The children will need to wear their school uniform. They will also need to bring a mid-morning snack and drink and a packed lunch and drink. If you would like to order a school packed lunch could you please let me know by Thursday. We will be leaving school at 9:15 to be back by 3:00 so the visit is within the normal school day. We will be accompanied by Mrs Mitton, who the children know as a midday assistant. All permission slips have been received so we are ready to go.

Next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 27th and 28th, we have the Bikeability course. All permission slips have been received for this too. The children can bring their bikes on Tuesday morning and leave them outside year 3 classroom by the flower bed. Mr. Spilsbury will make sure they are all safely inside at the end of the day so they don't need to go home until the course has finished.

I have now booked the visit to Liverpool which I mentioned on the new term letter. The date for this is Wednesday 16th November. Mrs. Sant will be getting a letter out to you soon and a copy will be posted on the website too.

I am about to set the MyMaths homework after I have written this so fingers crossed! Your child should have brought their login details home already and they have an extra letter today about downloading an app on a tablet device.

Thanks for the models of 'Lost Things' that are now covering every spare surface of the classroom - they are great, some of them are very detailed. I think the children have really enjoyed making those.
